Kline: Zoning is Proactive, not Reactive

[1]Don Kline at a Zoning Commission MeetingA Washington County zoning commissioner says implementing such an ordinance is an attempt to be proactive, rather than reactive. Don Kline voted in favor of sending the proposal to supervisors. He points out that the controversial “35 acre rule” would only apply to areas zoned for agriculture. He also says current land uses would continue to be allowed, and only new development would be regulated by zoning. Kline was the guest on this morning’s Washington Page [2]
