Muscatine-based Iowans For Tax Relief fear a loss in manpower to state organizations. The group’s Katie Koberg says the reductions in personnel were a reflection of the governor’s “lazy and reactive example of…thoughtless across-the-board-cuts”. Koberg says Iowans For Tax Relief advocates eliminating tax burden and implementing a cut in salaries rather than laying off workers.
