Iowa is receiving national praise for its healthcare. Fairfield Senator Becky Schmitz says Forbes Magazine rated the state in the top three for making quality healthcare affordable and accessible. Schmitz says one particular area she is proud of is Iowa’s second place ranking in providing health insurance to children. Schmitz says many of the state’s policies are being considered in Washington, D.C.
