Demons need win and Fairfield win
Posted: October 23, 2009 @ 8:31 am In Today's Local Sports
The Washington Demon football team is in a must win situation to have a chance to play next Wednesday in the post season. The Demons head to Fort Madison tonight to take on a Bloodhound program that has struggled the last couple of seasons, but won their two non-district games and beat Keokuk 30-27. The Demons heading in are 3-3 in the district, Mount Pleasant and Fairfield are 4-2 in the district. A Fairfield win and a Demon win would send Washington to the post season as the number 4 team out of the district. However, a Mount Pleasant win would mean Washington is out. You can hear tonight’s game on the one to count on KCII we’ll be on the air with our Federation Bank Pre-game Show at 7-pm. You can listen on the radio or online at kciiradio.com.
