The Washington Demon JV team beat West Burlington/Notre Dame last night at Case Field. The Demons original opponent, Clear Creek Amana, didn’t have the numbers to field a JV team, West Burlington/Notre Dame ran into a similar situation with Davis County. The Demons won 34-18. For Washington:
Joe Harris 19-33 passing for 290 3 touchdowns
Travis Coleman 7-receptions 86 yards and a touchdown
Collin Steele had 6-receptions for 63 yards and one touchdown
T. J. Rausch had a 59 yard catch and a touchdown
Maverick Goodwin had 3 catches for 57 yards
Kyle Roder had a five yard touchdown run
Defensively Austin Knupp 12 tackles blocked a punt and had a safety.
The Demon JV is now 5-2 and will wrap up their season next week with Fairfield on Monday and Fort Madison on Thursday.
