Work on the Iowa 78 bridge near Coppock was recently completed. The Iowa Department of Transportations Fairfield office said the project, headed by Iowa Bridge and Culvert in Washington, was intended to be completed last fall, but was delayed due to heavy rains and flooding in the area. The DOT says the bridge is complete and open to traffic.
