Third quarter home sales were up this year in Iowa. Iowa Association of Realtors President Carey Jensen says the housing market saw a 4.6 percent increase in sales from August to September. Jensen says overall sales have experienced a 2.5 percent growth from this time last year, and 7.2 from two years ago. He says they expect to see a strong fourth quarter to finish out this year.
