The Washington Demon volleyball team competed at the Ottumwa tournament on Saturday, and ended up dropping their four matches. Head Coach Jeff Spenner says they lost to Mount Pleasant and Davis County in three and then lost to Ottumwa and Burlington in two. As for their performance he says they played well at times but struggled again with consistency. The Demons will host Fort Madison tomorrow. Washington is 1-2 in the conference with a win over Mount Pleasant and losses to Fairfield and Keokuk.
