Breast Cancer Awareness Month gets started this week. Washington County Hospital and Clinics plans to showcase it’s new digital mammography equipment during an open house. Radiology Director Denny Brown says the new system allows them to take and view images almost instantly, rather than having to wait to have film developed. The open house is Thursday from 5-7. The chamber of commerce is also hosting an alive after five event in conjunction with the open house.
