The Washington County Riverboat Foundation has announced its third quarter municipal grants, totaling over $220,000. The group’s Jim Logan says the Riverboat Foundation distributes twenty-five percent of its income to Washington County cities based on total population. For this quarter, Washington tops the list receiving nearly $117,000 followed by Kalona which received $38,000. Since the Foundation’s inception, it has given out over two-million dollars.
