Facilities operated by Washington County Conservation saw a record number of users last fiscal year. Conservation Director Steve Anderson says they also had a high volume of donations. Anderson says one of their biggest projects recently has been Foster Pond in far southern Washington County. He says it cost between $65,000 and $70,000. However, due to grants and a donation, none of it was funded with tax dollars.
