Work gets started on another construction project in downtown Washington this morning (9/29). There will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the Central Park Bandstand renovation project at 10:30. Crews are expected to work as long as the weather allows this year. They’ll begin work again next spring, and hope to have the project done before the first municipal band concert.
