Three Jefferson County agriculture producers are getting a helping hand from Senator Tom Harkin. Porter Farms Inc., Ryan and Jennifer Robertson, and William Adam together will receive just under two-hundred thousand dollars in grants to replace inefficient grain drying systems. Harkin says in improving these projects, it will make Iowa producers more energy efficient.
