The Iowa Department of Transportation is distributing the 2009 Map for Bicyclists. The state agency says the publication shows recreational trails, bike-friendly routes and new four-foot, paved shoulders. The map also includes insets of Iowa’s 16 largest cities, and a special “Rules of the Road for Bicyclists” section. The maps are free and can be ordered online at www.Iowabikes.com
