Water is covering parts of the east side of the road in Columbus Junction, and possibly on highway 70 as well. Columbus Junction sand bagging operation has moved to higher ground. They are now at the American Legion. Volunteers are welcome, but those coming from out of town should consider difficulty accessing roads going into the city.

Because of flooding in Cedar Rapids, local school districts like Mid-Prairie and Washington’s websites and email services are temporarily down. They will restore those when possible
